• I use SiteGround as host (The program includes CDN). I wonder if I should host my images on Google instead and link to them, since I assume their servers are generally much faster. Please share with me your knowledge.
    Thanks in advance.

One way or the other it should not matter. When you put your images to load in your viewer’s browser from another site that is something you do to improve their experience. Normally that’s via a CDN but if you can make it work somehow hosting it on Google then that should be fine.

It sounds like a lot of work, also, it would be really terrible if Google’s service suddenly shut down and you’d lose all the images.

I wholeheartedly recommend going with Photon (Jetpack/WordPress CDN)

You’ll lose all the image search benefits if you host your images on another site, won’t you?

I’m not sure what benefit you mean but the short answer is “No”. ??

    Thanks.
@danielhaim1, Photon takes care of resizing to the desired size and improving server speed using Cache – right?
