    Hi,

I installed the plugin and I see a setting that says: Enable this option to allow only the logged-in users to use the Wishlist feature.

Only I see some support questions that makes me think the wishlist only works for logged-in users?

Can a visitor (not logged-in) add products to the wishlist and if so, do I need the exclude something to my cache plugin so the cookie (if used) will not get cached?

    Kind regards.

    Hi @joeri1977,

I greatly appreciate you for contacting us.

Please allow me to answer your questions one by one.

With the setting enabled, only logged-in users can add products to their wishlists and browse them.

On the other hand, if you choose to disable the setting, all your visitors can add products to their wishlists and browse them later even if they are not logged in.

Please note that these products will be stored by the browser cookies in this case. If the cookies got deleted somehow, the products won’t be accessible anymore.

I hope the answers clear things up.

If you have more questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

    Best regards,

    Hi @tarekht,

Thank you for you reply. Can you tell me what string I should add to the cookie exclusion of the (in my case) litespeed cache plugin?

I have ‘only logged-in users’ disabled but when I am not logged in and add a product to the whislist I see it’s being added but after page refresh it’s not added.

    Hi @joeri1977,

It was the least I could do ??

You can try adding the following string to the cookie exclusion:

    wishsuite_item_list

Hopefully, it will resolve the issue.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thank you very much!
