Is it common to get spammed on this forum?

Just posted my first question on here and I got this email (to my personal account which I did NOT share anywhere in relation to WP). I’m calling out Robert at Fixrunner:

Sorry about that. The forums are public. It happens.

We definitely don’t give out your email address to anybody. People can find you through domain ownership info though, if you don’t use a privacy protection on them.
