    Hello,

    I already have a location autocomplete plugin by Buddyboss. I’m trying to make location autocomplete by Buddyboss work with Bp Profile Search plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work. How can I fix this? Thank you, please let me know soon.

    Hello wegosi,

    The plugin Location Autocomplete for BuddyPress by BuddyBoss has been last updated on June 2017, according to their site, so I guess it’s compatible with BP Profile Search for text searches, without autocomplete. To enable autocompletion and search by distance in BP Profile Search you should see in the Search Mode drop-down the options: distance, contains, is, and is like and you should select distance.

    If you don’t see the option distance the plugin needs to implement the missing interface. In this case I suggest you contact BuddyBoss for advice.

    You also mention the plugin BP xProfile Location by PhiloPress. It’s compatible with BP Profile Search for text searches, without autocomplete. To enable autocompletion and search by distance in BP Profile Search you need an additional extension by PhiloPress.

    Last but not least, you can try BP Distance Search.

    Sure, regular user wants to see dropdown menu of cities, but not just enter the text => press Search button.

    BP xProfile Location enables autocompletion and search by distance in BP Profile Search when you install an existing additional extension by PhiloPress, BP Maps for Members. Probably I didn’t make it clear in my previous reply.
