Is It Good To Have Google Fonts For SEO

  • I have installed Google Fonts on My Website but I m not sure how it impacts my website in Seo. So, I would like to know is it good to have google fonts on website for seo. I have audited my website in Page speed insights and it looks site’s speed is getting slow because of fonts.

    Hi @fajrdua,

    I would say it’s neither good nor bad to use Google Fonts on your website. Many people believe they look better than the small choice of browser safe fonts (https://fontsplugin.com/web-safe-system-fonts/) you can use on the web.

    Like all additions (images, video, embeds) fonts do add to the page load time. However, with the correct optimizations that can be minimized.
