I think it’s clear why I’m writing this!
Even if you tried you couldn’t make it so complicated.
But I think this is what you have done.
    You made it on purpose.
I don’t even know where to start.
I don’t even know who am I writing to.
    Facebook? Skyverge?
Even in this plugin’s documents, there’s this line:
    Please leave ‘Instagram Shopping’ unchecked.
    You are kidding, right?
Then remove that out from your plugin’s interface if we shouldn’t even have to select it in the first place!
There is not one single document, not even one, none, where it explains in what order we have to do things and we shouldn’t.
If we shouldn’t do something, it means “that things” shouldn’t even be there.
If you let me on Instagram create my catalog at first this pixel should connect to it and upload products to it.
or if I should at first create my pixel and later create a catalog on Instagram…..
And if the idea of using pixel is to centralize connection and management, why can’t we control everything from one place, and why there is no single document explaining it clearly. and also, again, if the pixel is used for centralizing things and your plugin helps to do this, why we should leave ‘Instagram Shopping’ unchecked!?
    It’s just a mess!
Please, please, tell me it’s all a joke and there’s actually a document!
A document where it explains all, but all, in order, what we should do, in order, without giving 36543243574 links to other documents which send us back again where we start.
Thank you and sorry if offend someone but you can’t imagine how frustrating it is.

  • Hi there @umutusu,

I’m sorry to see you’re encountering some difficulty with Facebook for WooCommerce and Pixel.

I don’t even know where to start.
I don’t even know who am I writing to.
    Facebook? Skyverge?

Just to ensure it’s clear who you may speak with on this thread:

This forum is a community forum, your post is visible to folks like me, a Happiness Engineer, folks from different developer partners, fellow community members, etc.

There is not one single document, not even one, none, where it explains in what order we have to do things and we shouldn’t.

We do offer documentation for the setup and configuration for Facebook for WooCommerce, I have linked it below but it sounds like you may have encountered it previously from your post:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/facebook-for-woocommerce/

The documentation does go over the standard steps to take for configuration/installation, however, it sounds like you may have run into a specific issue. Documentation for plug-ins, in general, is not as specific as you may be looking for as it is not able to account for all possible site configurations or issues encountered.

If you’d like to make a post about the issue you’ve run into or share some more specific information about where the problem is occurring we would be happy to assist.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
