    Hello!

I need each page of the site to have generated a QR code to print on marketing materials.
My problem is that I have to print the QR codes BEFORE the final name of the page and its final URL are established – this will be established only after printing the QR codes. So it is absolutely necessary that the image of the QR code does not change and remains the same after modifying the page URL.

In short, I need that after I change the permanent link of the page, the image of the QR code remains the same as the one initially generated.

Can I get this with Kaya QR code generator?
    And if so, how?

    Thanks`

    Hello,
Thank you for your comment and for using ‘Kaya QR Code Generator’.

If you generate a QR Code image with an URL, print it on paper and change the site page URL after, the printed QR Code will redirect to the ancient URL and not to the new one.

You cannot generate a QR Code with an URL content, print it on paper and expect it to display an other one.

The QR Code image is generated by the content, here the page URL. If that content is different, the QR Code image will be different too.

If you use the plugin with an empty content, the generated QR Code will display the current page URL, and if the URL change the image will be changed as well, but only on the site using the plugin.

I hope this will answer your question.
    Thank you, best regards.
