Is it possible to add a WordPress Post (1) into a html home page

  • Hello members,

    I recently downloaded the WordPress files. I would like to know if it is possible to add WordPress to just display one post only on an existing html home page (index.html)?

    I currently have a java based photo slide show and an mp3 music file embedded to play automatically when the page loads.

    Basically, I would like to add a post/comment on my home page through WordPress.

    I did try to modify one of the basic themes using Dreamweaver CS5. However, I just couldn’t modify it to match and include/add the java slide show and other elements from my existing home page.

  • it’s simple to insert wordpress posts to .php files

    but for .html files, you may need to google for a way to use your wordpress rss feed to display the post
