Is it possible to add Facebook Author Tag?

I’m already seeing this in my OG info using the plugin, however, I’m not sure how the “article:author” property, specifically, is set.

Daniel – I could see your code, it works fine on your site. I wonder, how could we activate it also? Are you sure it comes from WordPress SEO and not from some other plugin or theme?

Hi conualfy – yes, I figured out how it works. The article:author tag is controlled (per WP post) by the Facebook link set in each WP author’s profile.

I updated the FB link on the author (me) profile that wrote the above article and it updated in the OG info. I had to “flush” the FB cache, however, using Lint using the below:

https://[www.yourwebsite.com]/?fbrefresh=CAN_BE_ANYTHING

Replace [www.yourwebsite.com] with your website, removing the [ ].

Plug the above into Lint once you’ve got the correct OG info displaying:
https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

You simply have to fill in the Facebook profile URL in your WordPress user-profile.

I thought I had long done that, but it turns out either it was lost in some upgrade or I never filled it in… ??
