    Hi Yikes team!

I have two questions… the easy one would be… Do the content in the tabs count for SEO and word count? I have an e-commerce and put quite a lot of love and time into the descriptions. I want to make sure it pays off even if I am changing the format to show it.

The second question is …I am trying to create different tabs.. in some tabs the content will be the same across the whole page like Shipping .. others will have different descriptions that would be common.. for example, all the products from the same brand in the About the brand tab… and other tabs that would be specifically for each product as Style Notes or Sizing..
I still would want to have the same order and look and feel for all of them. Can I do that in Elementor or it has to be product by product? My product page is a template I did in Elementor and my idea is to add it there… but be able to change the content of the tabs in the Wooc individual product page when creating it. I that possible? I downloaded the free version and it is not reflecting on Elementor. Not sure if that is only appearing in the Premium or if what I thought of doing is possible with your plugin..

Thanks a lot in advance for your answer and your support!

  • Hi @gallegoara,

As for your first question – I’m no SEO expert, but the tabs are present in the page markup, and as such I would have to assume that they are relevant for SEO purposes.

As for your second question – this is a fairly complex setup. To achieve “the same tabs on each product, but different content for different products” you will probably want to create a shortcode that is capable of rendering the correct tab content per product, then set up tabs in a particular order that contain those shortcodes. Global and Taxonomy-assigned tabs are features of the pro version of this plugin, but you can accomplish a similar feat (with slightly more legwork) by creating Saved tabs and assigning them to your products individually.

Let me know if that helps,
    Jon
