    Hello team
    I would like to know if its possible to change from paypal account and preserve subscriptions renewals
    If is not, could you please share some code hook the renewal process and make it compatible with new and previous account?

    It’s not entirely clear if you are asking about changing the seller or buyer accounts.

    If you’re referring to the seller account, it is possible to migrate vault tokens from one PayPal merchant account to another. However, this is something that would need to be handled directly by PayPal. PayPal would need to copy all the payment tokens over to your new account. Once the new account is connected to the plugin, everything should work as before.

    There isn’t a migration process that can be handled on the plugin level since the plugin simply processes payments using the payment token. If the payment token isn’t available under the new PayPal merchant account, payments won’t work.

    Yes, PayPal does offer support for token migration. In fact, we have experienced a similar situation internally and found that it was possible to make the change.

    To proceed, you will need to contact PayPal Merchant Support directly, as they handle the migration process.

    Thank you for your message.

    To me the MTS may be referring to PayPal Subscriptions, as they mentioned the term “plan” and “cancel subscriptions from user account” which is typically used in that context rather than tokens or Vaulting.

    I would suggest reaching out to them again and specifying whether you are discussing PayPal Subscriptions or PayPal Payments with tokenization and Vaulting. Clarifying this with them is quite crucial.

    Unfortunately, we currently do not support the migration of vaulted payment tokens from one PayPal account to another PayPal account.

    We contacted PayPal internally and found that shared billing agreements are possible. However, their technical setup hasn’t been transferred to Vault v3 yet, so I’m waiting for a response.

    Sorry i dont understand what are shared billing agreements.
    Is it something this plugin will include ?
    How can i know what are the Vault version of the token related to a subscription?
