Is it possible to create a taxonomy related to another taxonomy?

    Like the title says. I mean, relate the new taxonomy to another taxonomy instead of relating it to a post type.

    Unfortunately Taxonomies can only be tied to Post Types, as described in the register_taxonomy() documentation.

    I’m not sure what you mean by “making it related to another taxonomy”, but if you mean being able to choose and save specific terms of “tax-2” from “tax-1” and making it bidirectional, you can achieve that with the ACF Extended Bidirectional Setting with the ACF Taxonomy Field.
