• I have a client with a site that has two venues for events and they would like a page for each venue with its own event calendar. I wondered if it would be possible to create two different event calendars with this plugin or if I’m going to have to find another way to do this. It would be wonderful if there could be a way to create a short code for two different event calendars and then use them on the two venue pages, but I couldn’t find anything like that. I am even OK with having a main event calendar if I can also have it separated for the venues. Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    Debbie

  • That sounds like a great (and interesting!) idea but I’m afraid it’s a sufficiently bespoke customization that we cannot really help you with it.

Thanks Barry, I found another plugin that does allow for creating as many separate calendars as I need. It’s very plain Jane, but it’ll do for now and my client is OK with it.

BTW, what do you mean by a “sufficiently bespoke customization?”

    Thanks,
    Debbie

Sounds like you’ve got something that fits your needs and that’s great ??

BTW, what do you mean by a “sufficiently bespoke customization?”

I mean, the amount of support we can provide is fairly limited. So a small customization might, on occasion, be something we can support. But very bespoke customizations – that probably only have value to one user and can’t readily be reused by others, or that are very involved – are simply outwith the scope of support we can provide.
