    Hello,

    1. is it possible to delete old custom fields?
For example I have a custom field and change the name/ID. Then the old name/ID is still somehow in the database.
Is it possible to clean all the old data?
    2. We have media data with 700 entries in a GoogleSheets. When something changes we update the GoogleSheets and export it to a .csv. Then we delete all our custom posts and import the .csv again. As you’re the database expert, I’m wondering if something speaks against that method? Or does it blow up our database? Is the old data really deleted? We use the bulk delete plugin for that. Would the database cleaner clean something like this?

    Hello @schokolader! ??

In expert mode, Database Cleaner allows you extensive access to all your tables, enabling you to handle custom fields. However, there’s no distinction regarding whether a field is in use or not, so it’s crucial to have a backup before making any changes.

Regarding your Google Sheet method, the old data should be deleted, but sometimes remnants can linger. Database Cleaner can assist in cleaning these remnants, but always proceed with caution and remember to backup first.
