Is it possible to edit style of store page?

I have two seemingly simple edits I would like to make to my store page but can’t seem to figure out how to do it.

1) I would like to remove the Category drop-down box from the top of the page.

2) The style for the product headings is overriding my theme’s <h2> style. Any way to change this?
