Is it possible to get RSS feeds to show when a post has been updated?

  • I am subscribed to a number of other peoples blogs via Apple’s Mail software. I notice on several of these posts that, if the author updates them, their titles in the feed gain the additional text ‘UPDATED XX/XX/XXXX’ (with the Xs representing the date).

    When I update my WordPress blog posts, I do not get a similar notification in the feed titles.

    Examining this in more detail, it seems like all the blogs which get this notification are powered by Blogger.

    Does WordPress offer something similar? If so, how do I get it to functionality? Is there a plugin or code that achieves the same result?
