Is it possible to have cache files on another server?

I was wondering if it would be possible to store the cache files on a different server (or even a s3 bucket), instead of a directory in the wordpress server.
I think it could be very effective since it would be like a cdn, but it would be totally transparent to the user, and furthermore it would store also html and not only media files and js/css.
