Is it possible to make user specific homepages

Hi,

Sorry if this is a dumb question as I’m fairly new and all, but I was wondering if it’s possible to make the main homepage show only those categories that the registered users selected when registering, using custom fields.

So, say, the user selects sports, tech in custom registration fields the homepage would only list articles from these two categories.
