• Is it possible to NOT have rel=”nofollow” in the links?

It looks like there are settings (they are translated, so do not realy know if rel=”nofollow” is meant. I do not know what is meant at all with these translated setting)

It looks like under “Weblink sub-veld configuratietabel”
    there is an option :
“Voeg niet-volgen kenmerk toe aan uitgaande weblinks”

    Niet-volgen means something like no-follow.
I did not check this option. I did not put it on working.
And i do not check this on, in the link itself.

So I do not understand why I get rel=”nofollow” links in the link library.

I will investigate this issue in the next couple of days. Sorry for the trouble.

Are you running a current version of Link Library? I just tested on the current version and the no follow option worked correctly. When checked, it adds a nofollow flag to links. When unchecked, it does not add it.

Is it possible that you might have installed another plugin to filter your pages and add nofollow links to all links?

Something else I can suggest is trying to check the option, saving, then unchecking and saving.

Finally, do you have multiple Link Library configurations? If you look at the source of your page where you are displaying links, does the shortcode that you use have a settings option? If there is one and it is set to anything but 1, then that means that you are using a different configuration. You would need to to go the Library Settings page and select the correct library settings, then press the button to see the settings for that library and change it there.

Let me know if any of these suggestions help.

With current version of Link Library.
    There is no other plugin
I use simple shortcodes, with no extra settings. Just [link-library settings=1]

For rel=”nofollow” option it all looks somewhat buggy.
With some trial and error I manage to get the most links without rel=”nofollow”

    Works like this :
Standard the option in the settings is unchecked, but all links DO get standard rel=”nofollow” (that is wrong)

Then I change the settings. I do a check, and save. And after that I unchecke and Save the settings.
After doing that the result was :
    – All links did not have rel=”nofollow” execept the first link.
    In an other configuration
    – All links did not have rel=”nofollow” except the last link.

When I enter a link via the form. And accept this link with the link library menu option “nakijken”, the link does get the rel=”nofollow option. Although settings are telling not to do that.

And with an other test it did not change it when I changed the settings.

I could change it, but I had to save ever link in the link list seperate.
So had to go to every added link and save it by hand.

Now, I think I know what is happening. When putting links in WordPress as Administrator in the WorPress system, they do not get rel=”nofollow”

When accepting with the form and menu, they get rel=”nofollow”. Although settings are telling not to do that.

I just pushed out a new version that should resolve this issue with the nofollow option being active for user-submitted links.

Please update and let me know if it works correctly on your side.

I will investigate over the week-end and let you know what I find.

I am having trouble reproducing your issue. Can you first check if the no follow checkbox remains checked after you save a link by reopening it? If it does not, please try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin to make sure that the custom database table for Link Library (wp_links_extrainfo) gets created in your database.
