no, and why would you want to? wouldnt it be NICER to just contact the author of the site and ask permission?

Well, technically, you can do all that. It wouldn’t be really easy to maneuver the stuff from source into the appropriate php files, but a very clever person could do so. The css is the easy part, of course.

However, that’s just not cool, and not at all “netiquette”. It’s being a thief and a scuzball….

Just ask the person nicely. And if heesh says “no”, try to be an adult about it.

Yeah, I’d ask permission from the owner of the site as well. Most people, if they get their layout from someone else, will be kind enough to post a link to the creator somewhere on their site. If the site owner spent a lot of time creating the layout on their own, chances are they don’t WANT someone else to have the same thing and won’t offer it for other people to use.
The best thing to do, IMO, if the site owner doesn’t give you their layout, is to browse the themes on offer here and then start playing. Learn some css and php, make your own graphics. It’s so much more rewarding when you come up with something original.

lol.. well funny thing is.. its a 3 column kubrick but left sided. its basically a hacked version of a theme.. if i cant get it from them ill just pay someone to have ti created. ill get it one way or the other just would be easier to have them give it

I thought I saw one of those, either on the Codex or the WRC Theme Viewer when I was looking for a theme for myself. Try those.

If you are prone to pay for that theme why don’t you ask the owner?
