Hi @buydafrog,
Just uninstalling the Imagify plugin will actually not do that, but here is how you can get that done:
? Start by restoring all images to original (requires that you had the “Backup original images” setting enabled in your Imagify plugin settings page when the images were optimized because backups are required for restoring images)
Go to your Media Library (list view) and click in the top right of the page where it says “Screen Options.” Then enter a larger number for “Number of files per page” and click “Apply” (this step is optional, but it will allow you to restore more images at once).
Then select all images you want to restore to original by checking the boxes next to them. If you want to select all images, just click the one box by the “File” heading. Then select the “Restore Original” bulk action and click “Apply”.
If you have images that you optimized from folders you added to the “Custom Folders” section in your Imagify plugin settings, then you can do the same as above but you should find these images in Media > Other Media.
That will restore all your images to original and also remove the WebP versions.
? But you’d also need to delete the backup folders, which you can find here:
Imagify Backup Location For Media Library Original Images:
? [wordpress-root-location]/wp-content/uploads/backup/[yyyy]/[mm]/
Imagify Backup Location For “Custom Folder” Original Images (if you have any):
? [wordpress-root-location]/imagify-backup/
Please let me know if you have any further questions on this and I’ll be very happy to assist however I can!
Best regards,
Joseph
