    Hello guys,

Is it possible to use wordpress’ shortcodes inside the marker’s data?

    Any advice on it?

    Thank you.

    Hi, @doctordogg and @surroundingmenus.
Sure you can use shortcodes inside the marker’s description – shortcode will be compiled.
But please note, that the result of the shortcode should be displayed in a marker’s description pop-up window. This can be a problem for many plug-ins – they can’t initially calculate the correct sizes for themselves, if it’s required. After all of this result of the Shortcode work will be transferred to a Google map – so, you’ll receive html at the end.

I tried using an image slider shortcode in the info window but it just returns plain text…

Please I really need help on how to use shortcodes in the Infowindow or if there is another way to implement an image slider, please let me know.

    Hello, @elnuru

Can you provide us a link to a map on your website? We should view that marker’s infowindow. Also, please specify what plugin do you use to create a slider?

    <b>Thanks</b> for your reply,i am very grateful…
I tried two different plugins,i tried the Image Carousel Plugin and also WP Slick Slider Plugin .

But the short codes displayed as plain text on the info window.

    Hello, @elnuru

Please, create a test marker with shortcode in description on your map. At this moment it doesn’t have any markers.
Also, I recommend you to contact us vi internal support to receive answers faster.
