is it possible to use this as a link to category?

  • It’s not clear to be if this is only a widget for the filter or can I use it on a page to link to a category page.

    example – if i had the categories: “cars” & “motorcycles.”

    If someone clicked the drop down and then clicked “cars” in the middle of a page, if they would be directed to the “cars” category page?

    Hello,

    It always displays all categories.

    You can edit the code to make it display just the categories that you need.
    There are different modification examples on this page:
    https://hottons.com/pcd_modifications

    And then place it on a custom WordPress page with shortcode:
    [product_category_selector]
