Is it possible to use with yoast SEO excerpt?

Hi, I was wondering if this plugin is possible to use with yoast SEO post excerpt. I was trying to use custom field snippet in yoast cf_advanced_excerpt but maybe I didn’t do it right. Do I need to do any setup for this to work with SEO auto generated excerpt? Please advise. Thanks
