Is it possible user registration in popup?

    suppose i have to use pop for user registration if any user open my site address xyz.com if user is not logged in website the popup will automatically load with user register form and after register he will automatically log in web site.is this possible in word press because i read that on web the pop is only use for the news letter signup only.please give the right direction.
