Is it safe to delete Staging Site subfolder folder in WordPress?

    I have a Staging Site subfolder in my WordPress directory called name-staging. I have never used it, and the Status check shows “unfinished or broken.” Is it safe to delete the subfolder and its contents without breaking my main website? Thank you.

    Hi @jordia

    First, I recommend creating a backup of your current site following this guide. Then you can delete this staging site from the plugin’s interface following this guide, there shouldn’t be a problem.

    I have tried to deleted the staging site by folowing the instructions provided but the folder never got removed from the root directory and I can’t even delete it manualy using FTP

    If you can’t delete the folder via FTP, you must contact your hosting provider about this.
