Is it safe to upgrade to php 8?

    I’ve read good stuff about PHP 8 and i want to upgrade. Because I don’t have somewhere else to test first I want to know if its ok to upgrade to 8 or do you recommend me to wait?

  • I’ve been running WordPress on PHP 8 without issues. But I run a very lean setup, with wit only Akismet and Yoast plugins, and a very simple custom theme — so your mileage may differ, depending on your theme and plugins used.

    Because I don’t have somewhere else to test first

    You can always test on your local computer ??
