Is it slowdown my site?

    I am new in blogging and want to use this plugin, it looks much easier than Sendinblue, Mailchimp, and other email marking tools.

    But my doubt is if this plugin stores all subscribers details in my site database and uses a site server to Send Automated Updates when a Post is published and other emails, then might be site gets slow down due to heavy usage of the site server.

    Because sending email and storing data this plugin can use site sever and storage. So my main query is, is this a slow-down site? if using the site server if still it is not slow down my site, then kindly clear it how is it possible? ??

    Yes, to give more control over data to the site administrators, the plugin stores subscribers’ data in the site’s database only.

    To process and send emails, it uses WordPress cron, which itself runs in the background and normally doesn’t affect the page loads when someone visits the site.

    By default, emails are sent through WordPress’ mailing function which internally uses site’s mailing functionality. The plugin also provides integration with popular third-party mailing services.

    In the lite version, Pepipost is available while in the premium versions it has following integrations available
    1) SMTP
    2) Amazon SES
    3) Sendgrid
    4) Mailgun
    5) SparkPost
    6) Postmark

    These mailing services allow you to send a large number of emails which is normally not possible with the site’s mailing functionality. Also, they help you in improving email delivery and reducing the load on the site’s mailing functionality as well.
