  • Hi SWPM team,
I have same question as THoughton – the user is taken away from the page where they’ve registered to “log-In’ – this is really a superfluous step for our site users.

The reg form is on a page where they’re registering to download content https://www.transdev-online.co.uk/knowledgebase/

They expect to be able to click on a PDF immediately, but they get the ‘no access’ icon, then they have to work out what they’ve done wrong. 1% notice the log-in link and go to the log-in page and come back to the PDF page. Unfortunately 99% of users give up and exit the site.

Can the registration form be modified to also log them in immediately?

At least can I copy the Login page PHP to a div below the reg form, to keep everything on same page? Ideally the reg form would disappear at that stage.

    Thanks

Hi the process is different between login and registering as a member. The developers will look into your suggestion further.

    Thank you
