• For those of you currently running a version of 1.3/1.5, is it worth it to upgrade from 1.22? Or do you think it’s still better to wait?

It’s still better to wait, especially if you’re happy with v1.2.2. To be assured that you have the “best” v1.5 build, you’ll need to keep up with the Nightly Builds. However, one NB may work fine, the next may trash your entire blog. It’s a risk you have to take. Make sure you’re set on what you want to choose. And, if you choose v1.5, keep backups.

I’m happy with 1.22, but I’d like to take advantage of the Theme capability of 1.5. I guess I could just take a template and write the css myself though…

agree with macmanx. Everytime i HAVE to switch to the latest nightly build (since I am using 1.5), i am gonna take a deep breath and pray very hard and hope everything will run fine after the upgrade. So far my prayers have been working very well. In some way, its an emotional torturing yet satisfying experience :P.

I love the cutting edge. I enjoy knowing whats going on. For me its worth the risk. Im not totally up to date, but I do move ahead based on what I read up on as stable. Im currently using 1.4.05

Don’t upgrade…build a test site instead, and see how it goes. If everything is working great, you could always just connect to your old database, run the upgrade script, and you’re good to go.
