is lyrical really a child theme?

    I am using Lyrical for my website (not yet live), and on the customizer Lyrical is defined as: “a child theme of Primer” yet, in this form, I see Even referring people with Lyrical to make a child theme. Am I missing something? thank you

    That is correct – Lyrical is a child theme of Primer, but is not yet hosted on www.ads-software.com due to the submission limits for theme authors.

    Lyrical is indeed a child theme of Primer and not something you can make a child theme of (child theme of a child theme). Any customizations you make should be done inside of a custom MU plugin, or inside of the Additional CSS section of the customizer.
