Is making classified ads site with WP that simple? Experts, need your opinions

    Hi. I want to build small classified ads website with WP. Will that work:

    Users can submit blog posts. These blog posts would be ads (custom fields for phone number, price etc etc).

    Thats it. Is having basic classifieds website that simple? Or am I missing something?

    it could be that easy, yes. As long as you find a theme that you like the layout of.

    Well yeah I have the theme and layout perfect for that. So just curious if the technical solution is simple for WP developer. Since I am not that advanced I am thinking of hiring developer to do that for me. I assume that would be easy job for even average WP expert?

    Plugins are nice, but I prefer clean and simple solution. I think mine is very simple. And some plugins don’t display posted ads as blog posts right? For instance just another classified ads plugin does not do that and I want my ads to be posted as blog posts.

    So is there a particular plugin thatshould be used to allows users post blog posts (as ads in my theme) or is that available function within standart WP script installation?
