Is MorningTime Lite compatible?

    This theme declares a text domain of “morning_time_lite” but then uses “morningtime-lite”. That’s going to cause problems, so the short answer is no, it’s not compatible because it’s set up wrongly.

    If you manually rename all MO files from morning_time_lite-<locale>.mo to morningtime-lite-<locale>.mo then the translations should get loaded by WordPress.
