When I add the briefing in Amazon it says :
At least one item in the feed must contain either text or audio content.
The url below which I am providing to Amazon returns a feed:
    https://www.growinsane.com/wp-json/alexa-fb/v1/briefings/

However I note that the permalinks in each briefing do not return the post and instead product a file not found.

I would greatly appreciate any pointers.
    Thanks,

Hi, I checked your feed and it does not contain any text in the post, so Amazon’s notice is valid. You’ll need to have a published Briefing with content in the post, either a link to mp3 or text.

Thanks for your super rapid response. My post does seem to be published but I get a 404 error when I access the permalink.
See these links to screens :

    Configuration
    Page not found

Its as if the /briefing/ url is not accessible?

Could be the theme or cache plugins.

Thank you for your kind offer Andrew.
I run a lot of plugins, this site is a e-commerce business. I use a plugin which manages plugins so I was able to disable all my active plugins aside from your briefing plugin and this then revealed your plugin to be working so it would seem that one of my plugins is causing the problem.
I will use a process of elimination to find out the culprit and determine if I can live without the problem plugin and update you if I can determine a workaround or if I come up blank!
    Thanks,

Ok so when I enabled all the plugins again, the briefing continued to work which makes me lean towards your first instinct, a caching plugin. I use WP Rocket.
I have added /briefing/ to the path of pages it will exclude so hopefully that will be the last I see of the problem.
I will advise if I learn anything new but I am guessing this is it solved.
    Thanks!

Great, glad to hear! Sometimes it’s just that easy!

Also, there is a caching option for this plugin, you may have success configuring that. You can see the details on the plugin homepage here.
