Is my wordpress site secured ?

Hey people, I actually I am just a beginner in wordpress theme editing. This is supposed to be my second such work. The previous theme that I designed for wordpress (from scratch) had some security issues. Therefore this time instead of doing everything from scratch I have used 2012 theme.

I need a site where anyone can post messages (confessions). All these posts are tagged with cities or colleges entered by the user. These are then saved as draft and admin can approve and publish them.

I am thinking of captcha… Is there any other security issue that I must consider.
