Is normal referrals using affiliate link possible?

    Hi,
    Is “Coupon Affiliate” only for referrals that require customers to enter the coupon code given by the affiliate marketer? Or is regular referral like clicking on an affiliate link and buying the product from the website for the normal price also possible? I mean without applying coupon codes?

    Thanks for the message.

    Our plugin is mainly based around your affiliates having a “coupon code” that they promote, and customers use that coupon code for a discount (or free item, shipping, etc).

    When the coupon is used, it is linked to the affiliate marketer for them to earn commission.

    It is of-course however possible to create referral links etc, in which these will automatically apply the coupon:?https://couponaffiliates.com/docs/referral-urls

    You can also setup “Lifetime Commission” (PRO version) so that the customer only needs to enter the coupon on their first order. Then, any future orders by that customer (even without using the coupon) will be assigned to the affiliate to earn commission.

    The customer will need to use the coupon code on their first order for them to be assigned to the affiliate.

    Hi,
    What I meant to say is, we don’t have coupons now, and also don’t have plans to issue coupon codes. Because there is already an ongoing discount offer. And I don’t want to give an additional discount on top of that. So is it possible to let the affiliates use a referral URL that doesn’t have a coupon code attached to it? Just like a normal referral?

    I see. Sadly, at the moment it’s not possible to use our plugin without the use of coupon codes.
