$ is not a function

You should change the second row of your script.js from

$(document).ready(function(){

into

jQuery(document).ready(function($){

This will solve the “$ is not a function” error. I’m also getting this error when combined with my plugin. See https://www.w3schools.com/jquery/jquery_noconflict.asp
