• Hummingbird is not compatable with All In One WP Security & Firewall, particularly if the bruteforce settings are in place.

I installed this plugin after AIOWPSAF was set up and it prevented my password being accepted by WP. As soon as this plugin was disabled by FTP, I was able to log-in to WordPress again.

    Hello @redcentaur ,

I’m sorry that you had an issue with our plugin on your site.

I have tested All In One WP Security plugin with Hummingbird on my lab site and I wasn’t able to replicate this issue with being locked out.
I can see that this plugin has export option. We would like to check this further, so could you export the settings from your site and share with us, so we can test it?

    kind regards,
    Kasia

I’m afraid I can’t send you the details you requested as I’ve now removed Hummingbird from the site in question and won’t be reinstalling it.

As I mentioned in my original review, Hummingbird repeatedly prevented my site from accepting a valid username/password. Instead, the login process constantly suggested that the username/password was not recognised. It was on my third attempt that I remembered Hummingbird had been installed during the previous session and disabled it. Hey presto, WP allowed the login straightaway.

The WP installation is only a few days old so has relatively few pages, posts and plugins on it.
