    Hello,

I just installed the plugin on my site. However, it can’t find a single related post, ever, for any of the posts or custom posts on my site.

Can you offer some troubleshooting for this?

    Thank you.

    Couple of things to check:

    1. How old are your posts and increase the limit of days to compare to a higher number
    2. Install Query Monitor and check what the query being generated is and what the output is via Adminer / PHPmyAdmin
    3. Verify that the fulltext indices are created (do you see an error at the bottom of the Settings page?)

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply!

Posts are not old, and the number of days to check is at over 1,000.

I don’t see any error at the bottom of the Settings page.

In posts, the ‘No Related Posts’ message is displayed, for what that’s worth.

I’m not familiar with Query Monitor, or how to check query input/output. Do you have any reference for how to do that?

    Thanks again.

Once you install query monitor, you will see an additional menu item in the top Admin bar when you’re browsing. If you click it you can view all the queries.

Goto a single page, then get the query from there. You can find the one related to Contextual Related Posts (it’s the one with MATCH in the query)

Good to know that. What was the issue?
