Is Paged Comments compatible with WP2.2?

I have installed the Paged Comments plug-in from
https://www.keyvan.net/code/paged-comments/But it doesn’t work perfect in my guestbook.
I can see the comments but I can’t see the latest one first, it’s ordering the earliest first. And I don’t see any page numbers.
Is this plug-in compatible with WP 2.2 or is it me how configure it wrong?
Can somebody help me, please?
