Is SMTP needed?

    Hi guys,

    Do we need to use a SMTP plugin for those forms?
    Is Forminator using the wp_mail function or something else?

    Hey there @dsl225

    By default, Forminator will use the method used in WordPress, if you have the default WP Mail then emails will be sent from there but if you have configured an SMTP solution then all emails should be sent from there.

    Are you already using it? Did you have any issues? If that’s the case we would be happy to help.

    I’m planning to install on a site shortly and will get back here if I encounter any issues.
