Is social login with LinkedIn working?

Same problem.

In Chrome console I have a javascript error:
“You must specify a valid JavaScript API Domain as part of this key’s configuration”

I have found this topic :

And found the call to platform.linkedin.com/in.js in the file “super_socializer.php”, line 694.

A quick dirty fix was to comment the line
api_key: <?php echo isset($theChampLoginOptions[‘li_key’]) ? $theChampLoginOptions[‘li_key’] : ” ?>

and to replace it with api_key: YOUR_API_KEY

Working for me after that but won’t survive to a plugin update. It should be nice to fix it correctly.

Your problem is different from the OP. You can see Linkedin login working fine at our demo with the original plugin code.

Darn – I can’t get this to work. I followed all the steps exactly. Tried twice. But the LinkedIn icon does not display on my register or login page. ??

I agree, it was not a solution. I have the uh oh error from Linkedin when I try to connect.

No error message – it’s just displaying. Same as before. I wonder if I’m having a different problem…

You have to enter “https://www.projectmanagementworld.com/register/&#8221; in the linkedin configuration I guess.

@snart, you have to save https://www.projectmanagementworld.com in Linkedin app settings. You missed the www.

End of line is necessary after Linkedin API Key which is being printed in script tag calling Linkedin API in HTML source. We are now doing it using PHP_EOL instead of hardcoded new line.

You have to save EXACTLY https://www.projectmanagementworld.com at following places in the Linkedin App (refer to https://support.heateor.com/how-to-get-linkedin-api-key/):
1. Website URL option (see step 3)
2. Valid SDK Domains option (see step 6, 7)

ReferenceError: IN is not defined linkedin.js:1:131
Not in Chrome.
Last version of Firefox, not everytime.
Any idea ?
