    Hello,

I just helped somebody move their site and I noticed the 404_redirection table was 13 GB and has 40,000,000 records. I dug in and as far as I can tell this table is just for logging the 404s it detects. I wanted to confirm with you that there is no relationship between this table and the other _redirection plugins, is that correct? The way it appears is that this 404 table is just to help users easily add redirects for those 404s but they are added separately to the redirection_items table.

Confirmation on this would help me reassure them that removing this table is not going to cause any damage to their 571 redirects in the redirection_items table.

    Thank you :).

Yes, it’s just logs. You can also find settings on the options page to expire them so it will never reach 13GB in size
