Is the confirmation email automatic when using Paid Memberships Pro?

In the Paid Memberships Pro plugin, it is set that a new member will be subscribed to MailPoet after the purchase. So far, I can see that the subscriber gets added to the list, but they are added as unconfirmed. Does MailPoet send out the confirmation email automatically, or do I need to create a sequence to trigger it?

If the sign-up confirmation?and?the option “Subscribe in registration form” is enabled in MailPoet’s Settings, MailPoet should send the confirmation email to all new WordPress Users added to your list. If the users are added through a third-party plugin, like Paid Memberships Pro, and that triggers the?user_register?action during import, this also should enable WordPress users to receive confirmation emails.

If you see “Unconfirmed” subscribers and you believe they didn’t get the first confirmation email, you can re-send this email to them by following these steps: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/314-how-do-i-resend-the-confirmation-email
