Hi @juhametsakallas Shortcodes will be executed as usual in Gutenberg. There should be no issue regarding the core functionality of the plugin.

Regarding the UI to select & insert shortcodes in post edit page, the current tintymce plugin may not work. It depends on the backward compatability offered by WordPress in 5.x. I would need to check the latest.

If you are planning to use the plugin, you can continue as the plugin will be updated gradually.

    Thanks,
    Aakash

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I know, that the shortcodes themselves will continue to work. As you guessed my concern is about the editor: will it continue to work?

Currently I have a site, where the functionality provided by Shortcoder is vital, and I’m working with another site, that also needs Shortcoder.

    Shortcoder is excellent!
