    Hi! I’ve activated the plugin for a while…and have received 3064 410 crawl errors as of 9/4. Now its 9/9 and they have gone down to 2391. Does this mean it’s working?

  • Hi,

    The drop in crawl errors could be because the Search Index Purge plugin is working for you. Having said that, the Search Index Purge plugin also create 410’s which Google Search Console picks up as a crawl error as well. You can mark these as fixed as soon as the intended URL is removed from the index.

    I have installed search index purge plugin 4 days back, Still not shown any 410 error code message in search console. Is the plugin working properly? Or do i have to do any more action in wordpress?
