    Hello there. Can i use the plugin free of charge? Is there a limit to photo compression? Thanks.

    I hope you’re well today!

    Yes, of course it’s free and you can use it on as many sites as you want for free. The only limits that are there is that a single image can be up to 5MB of size (larger image files will not be optimized) and that “Bulk Smush) – bulk optimization – can optimized up to 50 images in one go.

    It can of course optimize more of them but every 50 files you need to run “bulk smushing” again. These are only limits but other than this it’s all totally free.

    There’s also a Pro version of the plugin if you need more features, such as optimizing bigger image files, no “50 images in one go” limit, additional CDN for images (including conversion to WebP). You’ll find additional information within the plugin itself and here
