Question: I’ve been researching WordPress SEO plugins for my blog that regularly publishes new posts. The SEO Framework has caught my attention due to its positive reviews. However, I’d like to understand if it can be considered a strong alternative to popular SEO plugins like Rank Math and Yoast SEO, especially in terms of handling a content-heavy website.

    1. Indexing Speed: Both Rank Math and Yoast SEO offer features like instant indexing with the use of Google APIs, to index our posts as fast as possible .How does The SEO Framework compare in terms of post indexing speed? Does it have any features to expedite the indexing process?

    2. On-Page SEO: Rank Math and Yoast SEO are known for their robust on-page SEO features, such as content analysis, readability checks, and schema markup. How does The SEO Framework’s on-page SEO capabilities compare? Can it provide real-time suggestions for improving content and readability?

    3. XML Sitemap: XML sitemaps play a crucial role in SEO. How effective is The SEO Framework in generating and managing XML sitemaps for a website with a large number of posts?

    4. Structured Data (Schema Markup): Search engines are increasingly using structured data for rich results. Does The SEO Framework support structured data or schema markup implementation, and if so, how user-friendly is this feature?

    5. Customization and Flexibility: Many bloggers and webmasters appreciate the flexibility offered by Rank Math and Yoast SEO in terms of custom titles, meta descriptions, and Open Graph settings. Can The SEO Framework provide similar customization options?

    6. Content Optimization: Rank Math, for instance, offers advanced content optimization features. Does The SEO Framework have a content optimization feature that helps bloggers create more search-engine-friendly content?

    7. Resource Usage: Some SEO plugins can be resource-intensive. For a high-traffic blog, it’s crucial that the chosen plugin doesn’t slow down the site. How resource-efficient is The SEO Framework?

    8. Compatibility: Is The SEO Framework known for its compatibility with other WordPress plugins and themes that a high-volume blog might use?

I’d like to ensure that the plugin I choose can effectively handle a website with frequent posts and offer excellent SEO capabilities. Any insights into these areas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Hello!

There’s no need to contact me via social media; I try to get to every support topic quickly. This is a hectic month for me, so please consider making your requests short, and please excuse the delays.

    Now, onto your questions:

    1. Google’s Indexing API is limited to job postings and broadcast events. This is a very specific niche, and I do not think WordPress is the best platform for those sites.
For Bing’s IndexNow, Bing has developed a plugin. Besides, it is no faster than the sitemap protocols. I wouldn’t bother using this.

So, whatever you read about this on Rank Math’s website, it’s a farce.

    2. TSF has something we call the “SEO Bar” that checks for over 70 common SEO issues. It doesn’t perform writing quality checks; anyone who went to middle school should’ve been taught how to write a basic story: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_structure. Besides, there are much better tools to help with writing, like Grammarly.

We do have Focus keyword assessments, but that requires a subscription since we use dictionaries to build a complete subject assessment (instead of forcing you to spam a single keyword). If you wish to learn more about our Premium offering, please use the appropriate support channels: https://tsf.fyi/support.

    3. Every question we’ve ever gotten, I wrote about here: https://tsf.fyi/kb/sitemap. The gist is that TSF’s way of handling the sitemap improves indexing speed.

    4. Please see https://tsf.fyi/kb/structureddata. It’s just a few toggles, and TSF will generate the rest for you. This will be expounded upon in the next major update (v5.0.0).

    5. TSF is more straightforward in this. It’ll add pagination when necessary, it’ll add prefixes when necessary, and it’ll brand your titles unless you explicitly forbid that. Everything else is either entered manually or inferred from your page’s title.

    6. I do not know about what features you’re speaking. But I may have covered this at point 2.

    7. TSF is the fastest full-featured SEO plugin. We never state anything unfounded. Here you can find my most recent test, and this user affirms our findings: https://twitter.com/YoRaulGonzalez/status/1705098096420524438.

    8. TSF has only a few issues with compatibility because I try to take the straightest paths in the code and stay within the expectations of WordPress (regarding filters, actions, etc.). Still, if you’re finding issues, you can open a topic, and we’ll investigate.

I hope this helps! Most of this information is also available on our plugin’s landing page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/autodescription/.

To close, I think it helpful to get a testing website on which you can try plugins. That can help you validate what I said; plus, you can then ascertain the interoperability with other plugins and themes you use.

Thank you for your reply and helpful insights. I truly appreciate your assistance. I’ll experiment with this on a fresh site and monitor how it behaves. Your guidance has been invaluable. Thanks once more!

    Hi there,

I love TSF but one thing TSF doesn’t have is the breadcrumbs. Rankmath and Yoast have this functionnality.

Is it on purpose not to include this on TSF plugin ?

What would you suggest to insert breadcrumbs on my website if I would like to keep TSF ?

    Tks for your help

    Hi @manuarmand,

TSF does support breadcrumbs since TSF v5.0. Please see https://tsf.fyi/kb/breadcrumb-shortcode/.

We didn’t support it before because the Block Editor was promised to come with it, but the Gutenberg team is taking ages to get to a minimum specification.
