• Is there a better way, or have I missed the boat on this? A prospectthat has a non-wordpress site is using a custom CMS that allows them to create hyper text links via a “browse server” button which, after locating, say a PDF, installs the path to the PDF in text in just one open window.

I’ve looked and cannot find an easy way for the prospect to do this in WordPress other than opening up two windows.

Other than having two WP cpanel windows open, highighting text, then clicking on the “link” icon to create a link on the page (in window #1), and then having to browse to an image to find the image path in the library tab (window #2), then copy the URL and paste it in window #1 – is there a better way? Is there no “browse server” function (a button) to find that image when installing a hyper text link on a web page?

I dont’ really have an issue with this, but the prospect might.

I’m not sure if I’ve made myself clear on this or not.
