• The latest sticky/adhesive plugin seems to be back in 2004. Is there one that will work with the latest WP?

    Thanks!

  • Did you try it? I think people still use it.

I just installed for a friend the Adhesive from here
https://redalt.com/downloads/ and it works perfectly with 1.5.2.

Thanks, I’ll try the one from redalt out. I read on BloggingPro that it didn’t work with 152, so was wondering.

Also, I went to the one listed in WP plugins directory and it links to a page that has no mention of a sticky, or it must have been hidden somewhere on that page.

No luck, I tried latest adhesive plugin redalt has and the next one down, the ALPHA 1.6 and none works. I didn’t see a new sticky box anywhere.

The WP install I have is completely stock.

Oops, now I remembered, the friend was hosted on Dreamhost where PHP is running as cgi… so I had to modify the plugin like this:

Thanks a lot moshu, I’ll go and try it.

Works great moshu. Find and replaced all: SELECT_NAME with: PHP_SELF

    Thanks!

CG-PostOrder is another good solution. Allows for multiple posts, control ordering between them, and doesn’t use the admin pages for tagging/untagging ordered posts (so you never have to ‘edit’ a post to tag/untag).

My new interface is going through some overhaul (won’t see daylight for a bit still), but the old version is pretty functional. Ping if you need help.
